This post is going to be dedicated to our youngest nut, Peanut. She is growing up into a little lady! As of yesterday, she turned 8 months old. In the past 2 months she has gone from scouting on her belly, to the normal crawl, to sitting without help, to pulling herself up to stand against objects, and even trying to climb up the stairs. When she visited her Doctor in December for her 6 month well check, our Doctor was AMAZED and ASTONISHED to hear that she was already crawling and standing. I guess she is a little ahead of the norm.
These past couple of weeks she has tried new foods (besides the "Gerber" baby stuff). The other day she tried pizza crust and a carrot (the carrot didn't go very well). Today, I gave her a graham cracker and she LOVED it. I really enjoyed watching her chomp and slime it "down the hatch." Peanut made the most adorable smiles, squeals, and hand claps. She was so very proud of her accomplishment and so was I! It is so nice to see her change. Boy, does this time go fast. By June she'll be a year and I'm predicting that she will be running (I'll let you know if my prediction comes true)!!
Sweet little Peanut! It's so fun to see her grow...What a happy baby you have. I Love you little Peanut!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! Time DOES fly doesn't it? She'll be 1 before you know it! I look forward to the day Leighton can sit up on his own CONCRETELY. He does ok now but likes to tip to the right. (must be that big head) LOL! I now know what I have to look forward to, as Little Peanut has paved the way!
